On Saturday, December 13, at the Be True To Your School exhibition/auction closing event, we will be launching Too Much Light is Blinding, edited by Claudette Lauzon, a document and discussion of an exhibition Claudette curated in 2022. The book includes some gorgeous colour reproductions of works by Rebecca Bair, Dave Biddle, Sabine Bitter + Helmut Weber, Raymond Boisjoly, Brady Cranfield, Rehab Nazzal, Marianne Nicholson, Elspeth Pratt, Eldritch Priest, Judy Radul, Carok Sawyer, Nadia Shihab, Kathy Slade, Alex Tedlie-Stursberg, Jin-me Yoon, Katayoon Yousefbigloo, and Leanne Zannier; it also includes essays by Claudette Lauzon, Yani Kong, Peter Dickinson, Denise Oleksijczuk, Laura Marks, and Alberto Toscano. The book is designed by the excellent Stephan Garneau.
