Publication Studio Vancouver is launching its newest title, Strip Club Book for Leah Jolie, in Berlin with an event at TV Bar on April 28 at 7pm, and at the 2022 Miss Read art book fair, April 29 – May 1.
The event at TV Bar will feature Oliver Coran and Alex Hai reading from Color in Darkness, by Kevin Killian and His, by Oliver Coran. Strip Club Book for Leah Jolie was originally published by Publication Studio Portland in 2014, but now appears in a second, expanded version, including writing by Kevin Killian and new writing by Oliver Coran.
Strip Club Book For Leah Jolie is a dark, glossy book, filled with figures continually emerging from, and being swallowed by, darkness. Accompanying the images are two stories: Color in Darkness by late poet Kevin Killian and His by Oliver Coran. This new edition is published by Publication Studio Vancouver, and is seeing its worldwide launch in Berlin, preceding the Miss Read art book fair.
